The Unity Choir

The Unity Choir is the main choir.  This choir primarily consists of mature adults.  The main objective of this choir is to provide anointed music for our services.  This choir will recruit throughout the membership of our church and will persuade as many new members to be a part.  The only requirement to be in this choir is membership in the church. Each individual’s choir members will be required to adhere to the basic membership requirements set by our Pastor.  They must attend rehearsals and ministry engagements faithfully. Each choir member will be accountable to their auxiliary leader or to the one appointed by their auxiliary leader.

Worship Team

The Worship Team is our main worship ensemble that provides worship music for our main services. It consists of spiritually mature adults with exceptional vocal ability. There are two components to the worship team, one is worship team members, which are those who sing on the worship as background singers, and there are worship leaders, which are the individuals that actually lead the worship team in worship. The requirements of the Worship Team are that each member is, first of all, saved, and has a strong spiritual walk with God.  They must be committed to being on the worship team because the time commitment is substantial. Each worship team member and leaders will be accountable to their auxiliary leader or to the one appointed by their auxiliary leader.

True Worshippers

True Worshippers is the youth and young adult worship team (ages 13 – 29). They provide worship music for some of our services (to be determined by minister of music). Like the worship team, True Worshipper members must be saved and have a strong spiritual walk with God. True worshippers will follow the same guidelines as the worship team.

Judah First

Judah First is the young adult choir for people ages 18-29. This choir has a two fold purpose: the first and main focus of the choir is to lead young adults into true worship to God and to combat the demonic influences of worldly music in the lives of our young adults. The second focus of this choir outreach. The membership to this choir is opened to the community, mainly our surrounding college campuses.

Greater Works

Greater works is our youth choir for ages 12-18. Like Judah first, it has a two fold purpose, both worship and outreach. This choir is designed to lead our teens into true worship and to combat the evil influences of worldly music. It will also be a strong evangelistic purpose. It is opened up to Jr. High and High schools students. In this evangelistic effort we will also set out to combat the cultural trials that our youth are faces with. Greater Works will also consist of both members and perspective members. We will make every effort to integrate youth into our church through the youth department and the choir is one vehicle to bring this to fruition.

Greater Works – 3rd Sundays after 11:30am (after morning service)
