MENTORING MINISTRY
Welcome!
Greetings in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Mentoring Ministry at the Shield of Faith Christian Center of Pomona is designed to oversee and guide the discipleship process in the lives of the members of our church. Our primary objective is to cause the members of the church to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through a powerful life of prayer and the reading of God’s Word!
Beyond this primary objective it is our joy to motivate the members of our church to serve the body of Christ, encouraging individuals to use the gifts that God has given them to edify the church and the world around them. We are committed to counseling individuals and transforming the lives of believers. We strive to get every member connected to the family here at Shield of Faith Christian Center. In general, our desire is to enhance every member’s walk with Christ.
As mentors, we stand in covenant agreement with the members of Shield of Faith concerning their needs and spiritual growth.
The Mentoring Ministry Director and staff responsibilities include getting new members connected by guiding them thorough the mentoring group process during the early stages of membership.
